Dellwood Diva was family bred and raced. She is a lovely, quiet and sound broodmare with a proven breeding record and is available for an early 2013 season cover.
By General Nediym she is an opportunity to acquire a bloodline of of the great sire. She is part of a consistent winning family and a 1/2 sister to Dellwood Dancer a metropolitan winner and place getter.
She produces strong, correct and robust foals (photos of her last two foals available for inspection). Her family is only going to increase in performance with her 2009 foal General Kingsman is a winner and proven performer and is ready to go back into work now. And also her 2011 foal a Court Command has just turned a 2YO.
Unfortunately her 2008 foal Brazilian Debut after showing great promise died when spelling. And her 2010 Written Tycoon died of a snake bite.
Dellwood Diva had plenty of ability when in care of Brian Cox in Melbourne this particular day sent out favourite ridden by D.Smith on the way to the barriers the jockey bailed out and let her run into a fence hurting her knee , it was found she had to have bone chips removed , this causing her to retire early.
Inspection of mare at farm by appointment.
Selling due to ongoing health problems.
