This colt was the most athletic horse in the complex and physically was one of the best buys of the sale. Every time our team of bloodstock agents inspected him, they found even more appealing attributes of a classy race horse.

As shown in the video of the colt, he is a very free mover with a powerful stride. He shows all the attributes that he will get up and run early as an early 2 Year Old sprinter, but also develop and train on as a 3 year old.

The team fell in love with him at the sale and just could not leave without him given his great type, he is outstanding value as a race horse prospect. Ciaron noted that he reminded him of Anders himself, who was a high priced yearling and very fast on the track.

The team at CMR plan for him to go through their 2YO system and ultimately target feature races such as the Inglis Millennium and Golden Slipper.

Anders is a highly anticipated second-season sire standing at Widden Stud. Of his first crop that are currently 2-year-olds, he has already produced 2 winners (from 8 starters) and many other exciting prospects at the trials.

On the track, Anders was one of the fastest sons of Not A Single Doubt, who was a Champion sire of himself and is proving to be a producer of great sires with EXTREME CHOICE and FARNAN already producing top class horses on the track.

Anders was up and running early as a 2 year old, winning in town, before returning as a 3 year old to win the Group 3 San Domenico by 5 lengths and in record time (still stands). He then went on to win the Listed Rosebud stakes, defeating Champion first season sire Ole Kirk.

Ciaron Maher is of the firm opinon that Anders will be successful at stud and getting in early when his progeny are just getting to the track, presents a value opportunity!

Brahmagiri is an impressive mare by Champion broodmare sire Lonhro who is the leading producer of sakes winners in Australia. Daughters of Lonhro have already produced over 25 stakes winners, including Golden Mile and Linderman.

Brahmagiri was a winner over 1000m herself and has an amazing black-type pedigree. She is a half-sister to NEROLI, who won 7 races, including the Group 1 Queen of the Turf. This is also a family of proven produces with Brahmagiri being a three-quarter sister to SHELTERS who was the Dam of multiple stakes winners AFT CABIN, MULTAJA and VERANILLO.

Of the 2 horses Brahmagiri has produced that have raced, KAYANTHI has already won 4 races and accumulated $227, 000 on the track. This filly was by Hinchinbrook and was trained by Ciaron Maher to win impressively at Warwick Farm.

Ciaron began as a dual trainer in Warrnambool, the home of jumps racing in Australia, after successfully competing as a jumps jockey in Australia and rode in England, Ireland and Dubai during his career.
