This FILLY was bred by GERRY HARVEY


ADAM WATT from DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS and our Vet Dr TIM ROBERTS had inspected this filly and liked her.


She was a middle-distance 3YO Type - clean of wind and limb.


Tim read her X-Rays and they were crystal clear and the Videoscope of her airway was Grade 1 (perfect).


At the Magic Millions we had intended to buy a LONHRO Filly to join our team. This filly was one of two fillies qualified after inspections - Lot 700 was on our list, as was Lot 168.


Early on Day 1, we purchased Lot 168 for $170,000 + GST.


Therefore, as we had purchased our LONHRO Filly, so we felt we didn't need to pursue Lot 700 - GERRY HARVEY'S LONHRO x REMIND ME (GB) Filly, as we were content to take the one Lonhro filly home.


Had we not purchased that filly, then this LOT 700 was our target to buy on the pecking order.


We were gobsmacked and Gerry was flabbergasted when Lot 700 entered the salering and didn't reach Gerry’s very realistic reserve.


We anticipated she would be good buying at $120,000 to $130,000 based upon 2 times Service Fee of $60,000.


Adam Watt dashed around the back of the vendor’s box to ask “Uncle Gerry” (which is the relationship Adam and Gerry have developed over many years at the Magic Millions), what was the story.


Gerry said he had wanted $100,000 to start with, but dropped his reserve to $75,000 in the salering to ensure she was on the market.


He couldn’t understand that she didn’t sell but said to Adam that he was happy to keep her and race it himself.


That was ridiculously under value, so Adam Watt advised Gerry that Dynamic would pay him his $75,000 (+ GST) reserve he wanted, but Gerry with his trademark banter retorted, “only if I keep 30% and race her with you!”


Deal Done!


Uncle Gerry and Adam shook hands and this fabulous filly with her terrific pedigree both commercially and genetically, joined Team Dynamic.


Simply at well under market value - we couldn't afford not too!
