She is just a quality filly and we love her


Lot 1416 from the Magic Millions Sale was the Tagaloa Filly


Over the years we have raced a number of horses from this direct family and when we saw this filly come out of the box we where keen to add her to the team


As you might know we are very keen on the Biomechanics of the horses as its proven for us and on the stats overall to provide a ENORMOUS advantage in identifying slow horses. What is very interesting is when we look at the yearling sales overall as a collective is Farnan- Tagaloa and North Pacific are the three sires that statistically are going to be hot property when their progeny hit the track. Given the market is cautious until they run – this is providing amazing opportunities to pick up this stock at well below cost prices


This filly was typical of the stock we have seen in that they where medium sized but excellent movers. She meet the criteria biomechanically which is good and whilst she wont be a Pre Xmas horse – she should be able to run as a autumn to Winter 2yr old


Kris Lees is the best trainer of fillies in the land so he was keen to get her given horses in the direct family such as Savouruex – Slivovitz and others

THE PLAN


Being a nice filly, she will be given a short break to get over the sales period then she will be broken in.


If she handles everything and things go to plan – we plan to break her in around July- then give her time on the spring grass to further grow and develop- and if she handles her training there is no reason why she cant be at the races around April


The bred as a rule are unknown but Tagaloa did run early – however most of his nicer stock have looked like they might take a few extra months before they hit the track and as a result we think she will run at 2 but at a guess would say March would be more likely when we see her

As an owner of the horse you will pay for the horses upkeep and well being. This process will be managed by Australian Bloodstock and we charge $22pm for share to do this


Depending on where the horse is up to in its career you will have either spelling or training fees


Spelling- for 5% on average will cost you approx. $70 pm
Training- for 5% on average will cost you approx. $350 pm
