NOTE that this filly's is bred quite similarly to that of BON AURUM, the recent Group 1 winner. DANZIG on top with PROMONTORY GOLD over KAORU STAR on the bottom.


Sire:
SHINZIG is Group 1 winning sprinter with superb bloodlines. However, he is most known to produce middle-distance offspring. He has sired over 75 winners from relatively small crops. His get are noted for their soundness and being able to run over a variety of track conditions - from very soft to hard. They are often late maturing age (4-5).


Dam:
ICY GLITTER was trained up thru trialling. However, she did not race due to a knee injury. This is her only foal.
The dam's side shows a consistent production of winners from 1100 to 2200.


Dam's Sire:
PROMONTORY GOLD was a Group 3 winning son of the great GONE WEST. He served a limited number of mares (174) before being sold to overseas interests. He has a strike rate of 51% runners to winners, including a Group winner. His dam was Broodmare of the Year (US) in 1995. She won 6 Group 1's.
He is the broodmare sire of BON AURUM, Group 1 winner.


Grand dam:
ICY MISTRESS won 2 races at 1300 and 1400 and a 3rd in a VACT Handicap. She produced 4 winners from 5 foals.


She is correct; refer to the pictures. She has never been sick or lame.


You don't have to wait on this one. Based on her breeding she should be a late maturer, so we did not push her. She has been raised with sales yearlings. Like the others, she has always fed alfalfa (lucerne) hay plus commercial grain and vitamin mixtures. We routinely trimmed, vaccinated and dewormed all of our horses.


Training:
She has been Pre-Trained by Ray Matthews (0428 296 812) under saddle for 45 days. The last four days she was galloping at mid-pace for 2 miles.
