Cummings admitted to hospital: report

Legendary trainer Bart Cummings has reportedly been admitted to hospital with a chest infection.

Fairfax Media is reporting the 87-year-old, who has trained 12 Melbourne Cup winners, has a fever and it is considered to be a precautionary move.

Cummings is expected to be discharged by the weekend.
