Bowman and Shinn suspended at Rosehill

Leading jockeys Hugh Bowman and Blake Shinn have had their carnival momentum halted with suspensions on Golden Slipper day.

Both were outed for careless riding in the Group One Galaxy which Shinn won on Sweet Idea.

He shifted out in the straight causing interference to Va Pensiero, incurring a $6000 fine in addition to a six meeting suspension.

The ban rules him out of Derby Day on April 4 while Bowman elected to begin his suspension immediately and will miss next Saturday's BMW.

Bowman was outed for shifting in near the 700m on Galaxy third placegetter Miracles Of Life, causing interference to three runners,
