A Magic Millions start didn't eventuate for Dream Forward but the filly could instead put herself in the frame for an autumn carnival campaign at Rosehill on Saturday.
Connections of the Wyong Magic Millions third placegetter didn't accept for Saturday's Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast because the filly wouldn't have made the field.
Instead, the youngster is likely to start in Saturday's 2YO Plate (1100m) at Rosehill.
"If she gets a decent barrier she'll run at Rosehill," trainer Darren Smith said.
"If she doesn't she'll go to the paddock."
Dream Forward contested a barrier trial at Randwick last Friday as a lead-in to this weekend after finishing third on debut to Assail and Frill Seeking at Wyong last month.
Assail is favourite for Saturday's Magic Millions Classic.
"Other than the winner I thought she was the run of the race at Wyong," Smith said.
By running at Rosehill, Smith said it gave Dream Forward an opportunity to boost her prize money to help get her into better races in the autumn.
Kathy O'Hara has been booked for the ride.
Stablemate Testarhythm will also be a Rosehill acceptor in the Benchmark 80 over 1200m with the barrier draw to decided whether he starts.
The last-start winner is also an acceptor for Thursday's Listed Takeover Target Stakes at Gosford.
"If he draws better at Rosehill he'll most probably head there," Smith said.
Whisperossa, nominated for the same Rosehill race as Testarhythm, will contest the Class Six Plate at the Magic Millions on Saturday.
Smith's Rosehill team also consists of Melburg in the fillies and mares 1100m event.
