Michael Cahill believes Real Surreal will cope mentally and physically with the high pressure of the Magic Millions Classic.
The Millions is no place for the faint-hearted but Cahill is confident Real Surreal will not crumble under the high intensity at the Gold Coast on Saturday.
"She's a calm filly with a good temperament and physique so she can handle the pressure that comes with a race like the Magic Millions where they go helter-skelter from the outset," he said.
Since her runaway win at Eagle Farm last Saturday, Real Surreal has continued to firm from $16 into $9 in Millions betting.
"The 1200 metres looks as though it's going to benefit her and she's got a good gate which I think is crucial as long as she can stay out of trouble early," Cahill said.
"She likes to balance up so she'll probably be back off them a little bit in a typical Magic Millions but she'll be running on strongly."
Real Surreal made an impression with Cahill when he rode her to finish third at Doomben on December 22.
"She had the outside alley that day and I had to take her back to last and charter a pretty wide course but she still ran on extremely well which impressed me and her run last Saturday was even better," he said.
Cahill's game plan involves having Real Surreal within striking distance of the leaders on the home turn.
"The way the race will be run with plenty of speed should play into her hands and I'd like to be three lengths off them on the turn and coming into it with momentum," he said.
"Although it's a track that lends itself to horses being up in the first few I'm not expecting there to be a bias to leaders."
Cahill is a clear leader in the Brisbane jockeys' premiership and recently knocked back a short-term contract to ride in Dubai.
"It was only until the World Cup meeting in March and things are pretty competitive here and I've got a bit of momentum up and I want to capitalise on it," he said.
Meanwhile, stewards have cleared Missy Longstocking to start in the Millions after a vet test on Thursday afternoon revealed the filly was striding short in front.
Missy Longstocking was cleared when examined for a second time after trackwork at Eagle Farm on Friday morning.
