Bruce Hill's horses make up a third of the Stan Fox Stakes field and the Gold Coast trainer isn't hesitating to talk up their chances of a surprise result.
Winning Accord and Man Of His Word are outsiders at $41 and $17 respectively in the six-horse race but Hill says their preparation has been exemplary.
"They're both going really well. They're on the way up and we're very happy with the pair of them," Hill said.
"Both of them will make a good account of themselves."
Saturday's meeting will be the pair's Sydney debut after both posted strong wins at the Gold Coast this month when ridden by Kelvin Wharton.
The trainer has rewarded Wharton with the ride on Man Of His Word while fellow Queenslander Matthew McGuren will be aboard Winning Accord.
Hill said metropolitan crowds would be seeing the three-year-olds more often.
"They've both been very promising back home and tick the boxes," he said.
"Winning Accord will be there or thereabouts, and both finish very well as a general rule.
"If they run well or win it, they'll go to Melbourne."
The Chris Waller-trained favourite Press Statement has been backed from $1.65 to $1.40.
