Buffering wins his third Moir Stakes

Veteran Queensland sprinter Buffering has claimed his third win in the Group One Moir Stakes at Moonee Valley as the bubble burst around three-year-old Petits Filous.

Damian Browne fought off another three-year-old, Fontiton, on the turn to kick clear and beat Ball Of Muscle with Angelic Light third in Friday night's 1000m-feature.

His fifth Group One win takes Buffering's prize money past $5 million with Black Caviar and Takeover Target the only sprinters to earn more.
