Champion jockey Damien Oliver has received another careless riding ban which will cost him Group One spring rides.
Oliver was outed at Caulfield on September 26, returning in time for Sunday's Flemington meeting.
He received his latest suspension, a 10 meeting ban, for causing interference aboard runner-up Tivaci in the UCI Stakes (1800m).
Oliver's suspension begins immediately with the rider to return for the Blue Sapphire Stakes meeting on the middle day of the Caulfield carnival, October 14.
The suspension will cost Oliver the rides on Ready For Victory in the Caulfield Guineas and Fawkner in the Caulfield Stakes next Saturday.
Hugh Bowman was fined $750 on a whip breach following his winning ride on Preferment in the Turnbull Stakes while Darren Gauci was fined $500 for the same offence after winning the UCI Stakes on Ayers Rock.
