Small but select field in Caulfield Stakes

Cox Plate favourite Kermadec will jump from the outside barrier in a field of eight for the Group One Caulfield Stakes.

Last year's Caulfield Stakes quinella of Fawkner and Criterion have drawn barriers four and seven respectively in Saturday's 2000m weight-for-age race at Caulfield.

The John O'Shea-trained Contributer has the inside barrier.

Happy Trails is entered to back-up after his unplaced run in the Turnbull Stakes on Sunday and has barrier six.
