Regular racegoer Whitney Berry has come out on top in the fashion stakes at Randwick on the same day her jockey-father won the feature race.
Whitney, the daughter of leading jockey Glyn Schofield and the widow of jockey Nathan Berry, has been attending race meetings all her life.
Her Self Portrait dress and headwear by Mel Billingham was judged the best and most fitting for Saturday's Spring Champion Stakes day.
Her father made it a double celebration when he steered the Chris Waller-trained Vanbrugh to victory in the Group One Spring Champion Stakes.
Schofield will be in Melbourne during Cup week to ride Boban in the Darley Classic while his daughter will compete in the national final of the Fashions in the Field at Flemington on Oaks day.
