Star Queensland sprinter Buffering is favourite to win an unprecedented fourth Queensland Horse of the Year Award.
Although he missed this year's winter carnival with an injury, the Robert Heathcote-trained Buffering was still the only Queensland horse to win a Group One race last season, the 2014 Moir Stakes.
Earlier this month, the eight-year-old defended his title in the Moir at Moonee Valley.
