Trainer Gai Waterhouse has given herself every chance to win a fifth $2 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic with the most entries for the race at the Gold Coast.
When first entries closed on Wednesday there were 789 nominations from 161 trainers for the race on January 9.
Waterhouse, who has won the Classic with Driefontein (2012), Dance Hero (2004), Excellerator (2001) and Assertive Lad (2000), led the way with 53 entries and has 48 in the $2 million 3YO Guineas including Golden Slipper winner Vancouver.
Premier Sydney trainer Chris Waller has 37 nominations and Peter and Paul Snowden have 30 as does leading Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan.
The nominations include the Sydney Breeders' Plate quinella of Capitalist and Detective who are both trained by the Snowdens.
Conchita and Criquette, debut winners in Sydney and Brisbane respectively last weekend are also entered.
The Guineas attracted 388 first entries from 100 trainers with first acceptances and late entries for both $2 million races due on December 4.
