James Doyle to ride Complacent in Plate

Joao Moreira won't ride in Saturday's Cox Plate with Godolphin naming their retained rider James Doyle as the jockey for Complacent.

Moreira was expected to be aboard the last-start Craven Plate winner but it was the England-based Doyle who was declared on Wednesday.

Complacent is one of two Cox Plate runners for trainer John O'Shea along with Hartnell who will be partnered by the stable's No.1 jockey in Australia, James McDonald.
