Racing NSW will appeal the decision to overturn trainer Kevin Moses' disqualification for a cobalt offence.
The Racing Appeals panel set aside the one-year ban stewards imposed on the trainer for presenting Felix Bay to race with an illegal level of cobalt in his system in a race at Hawkesbury in April.
The panel replaced the disqualification with a $20,000 fine and a two-year suspension put on hold on the condition Moses committed no drug-related offence in that time.
Racing NSW will take the case to the Racing Appeal Tribunal, the final appeal body.
