About 200 of Brisbane's racing family has gathered in the Doomben saddling enclosure to pay tribute to the late jockey Tim Bell.
The 2013-14 Brisbane premiership rider, Bell, 22, died in an accidental fall from a building in Singapore on Tuesday night.
Jockeys, trainers, racing officials, owners and members of the racing media gathered for a minute's silence in the enclosure on Saturday.
The Queensland racing chaplain Fr Peter Gillam said a prayer for Bell while BRC racing manager Bart Sinclair paid tribute to Bell's dedication to Brisbane racing.
