Diamond favourites entered for Caulfield

Unbeaten Blue Diamond Stakes favourite Miracles Of Life heads a strong list of fillies nominated for Saturday's Preview to Victoria's premier juvenile race.

Miracles Of Life assumed market leadership with a nine-length win at Morphettville last start that followed an impressive victory at her debut.

In a race that seems bound to determined if she maintains her position, Miracles Of Life could meet Darley's top Diamond contender Montsegur.

Trainer Peter Snowden is likely to run Montsegur, who like Miracles Of Life isn't yet among the Blue Diamond nominations.

Montsegur's 3-1/4 length win over the course and distance of Saturday's 1000m Preview at Caulfield rates slightly lower on official figures than that of Miracles Of Life whose Adelaide performances put her equal with another of Saturday's entries Bulbula.

The David Hayes-trained Bulbula won the Merson Cooper Stakes at Sandown at her only run and will be first-up since November if she takes her place on Saturday.

She is one of 12 entries for the Fillies Preview which also include Gold Carat winner Diamond Glow who is one of three Peter Moody-trained entries for the race.

Moody also holds a strong hand in the colts and geldings division with four of the 15 entries, three of them first-starters.

The males Preview has 15 entries including the Snowden-trained Kuroshio, third last time out to the unbeaten Villa Verde.

Melbourne's best meeting since the spring also features the Listed John Dillon Stakes (1400m) in which the 15 entries are headed by the in-form British General.

In the 1000m three-year-old fillies event, Bart Cummings has nominated Flight Stakes winner Norzita.

The Listed Zeditave Stakes, a 1200m race for three-year-old colts and geldings has drawn only five entries, prompting the Melbourne Racing Club to extend the closing time for nominations until Tuesday morning.
