Rain has forced the reshuffling of important barrier trials in Sydney.

Tuesday's Randwick session featuring More Joyous has been transferred to Friday while the Warwick Farm trials set down for that day will be held next Monday.

By Tuesday morning, up to 100mm is expected to have fallen in Sydney over 36 hours.

As well as pin-up mare More Joyous, Group One winners Danleigh, Shoot Out, Glencadam Gold, Stand To Gain, Fiveandahalfstar and Pear Tart are all scheduled to trial at Randwick.

Group One winners are not confined to Randwick with Dear Demi, Doctor Doom, Streama and Appearance all to run on their home track on Monday.

The Guy Walter-trained trio of Doctor Doom, Streama and Appearance will all be having their second barrier trials ahead of their returns to racing next month.

While Walter is confident all three can step up to the mark again, he is also excited about the prospects of Jacquinot Bay who he believes can develop into a Group One performer.

"Jacquinot Bay is an exciting horse," Walter said.

"He is scheduled to run in a 1300 metre race on the 23rd of February and we'll see how we go from there."

The winner of five of his six starts, Jacquinot Bay did not begin racing until June last year as a late four-year-old.

"He had an early preparation with Bart Cummings," Walter said.

"His owner then decided to give him a long break. He is a sound horse who has only ever had the usual problems that young horses get."

Jacquinot Bay began his career out of Walter's Goulburn stable, winning four on the country track.

He suffered his only defeat when second to Strawberry Boy at Warwick Farm on September 8 but made amends two weeks later with victory at Randwick after which he was spelled.

He is among Walter's entries for the Doncaster Mile in April along with his Group One trio.

The trainer created history in the 2005 Doncaster when Patezza led in a stable trifecta with Court's In Session and Danni Martine filling the placings.

Walter doubts he can do it again but it won't be for lack of trying.

"Streama and Appearance will probably be kept apart as much as possible but could meet in the Doncaster," he said.

"Appearance will run in the Triscay Stakes on the 23rd while Streama could run in an open handicap then head to the Liverpool City Cup."

Although Streama won the 2012 Australian Oaks, Walter believes her forte is at 1600 metres, the distance of her first Group One in the Flight Stakes.

She hasn't raced since finishing eighth as favourite in the Group One Myer Classic (1600m) in November, won by Appearance in an upset.
