Andrew Noblet is looking to stretch Silent Sedition out in distance with a shot at a Group One race in the trainer's sights for the filly.

Silent Sedition returned to racing with a four-length maiden win at Cranbourne on March 4 in her first start since finishing fourth in the Group Two Fillies Classic at Moonee Valley in October.

Silent Sedition is one of 24 nominations for Saturday's Listed Bendigo Guineas over 1400m.

"I think she'll win a nice race along the way," Noblet said.

"She's definitely improved since last preparation, which she had to, and I think she's potentially a stakes filly for sure."

With that in mind, Noblet is hoping to get Silent Sedition to the Group One Australasian Oaks (2000m) in Adelaide in May.

"I think this filly will get over a bit of ground. Everyone that has ridden her thinks that and her pedigree probably suggests she will," Noblet said.

Silent Sedition's dam Fiorentina is a half-sister to 2012 Dubai World Cup winner Monterosso.

Noblet said Silent Sedition was a different type of filly to stablemate Super Cash who scored a Listed win at Flemington on Saturday over 1100m.

"They worked together a couple of times last time around and held their own with each other, but so they should," he said.

"At the moment they're at different stages. One we're keeping at sprints and this filly we're building up to hopefully the Australasian Oaks in Adelaide, if she's going to get ground."

Nick Hall has the ride on Silent Sedition at Bendigo with the nominations including Pasadena Girl, Odyssey Moon and Tivaci.

The trainer said Silent Sedition was "a bit too good for them" at Cranbourne and had come through that win well.

The Bendigo meeting includes the Listed Golden Mile as well as the $250,000 Vobis Gold Rush for two-year-olds.
