Pocket dynamo Endless Days has earned himself a chance in the winter carnival two-year-old feature races with a last-to-first win at Doomben.

Endless Days ($4.20) gave former New Zealand apprentice Josh Oliver his first Brisbane winner when he stormed home to beat Captain Dodge ($5.50) in the Racezone Handicap on Wednesday.

Co-trainer Will Hulbert said Endless Days had always shown ability and he would now be entered for the Group One JJ Atkins Stakes (1600m) at Eagle Farm in June.

"I ride him trackwork and I have always believed he would make a good miler. He comes from an excellent family and they can handle all types of tracks," Hulbert said.

Hulbert and his father Peter have trained all of the offspring of Endless Days' mother Endless Maize who is owned by well-known breeder Stu Barr of Lilivale Stud.

"She has got Endless Shadow who won the Magic Millions mares' race, Endless Puzzle who has won four races and Endless Don who was second at his only start and won a trial easily this week," Hulbert said.

Oliver was with Graeme Rogerson at Hamilton in New Zealand but has been on a three-month loan to Ben Currie in Toowoomba.

"I have ridden 29 winners since I have been here and recently extended my stay. I have a year in my apprenticeship and hopefully I can start riding in the city on Saturdays soon," Oliver said.

Sunshine Coast filly Divine Centuri ($4) is also on the winter carnival trail after scoring an impressive win in the Hardy Brothers Handicap.

Premiership-leading jockey James Orman, who rode Divine Centuri, earlier brought up 50 winners for the season on Dream Finnish ($5.50).
