Brad Rawiller's winning run has been stalled with the leading Victorian jockey suffering a broken bone in a foot in a barrier incident at Terang on Sunday.
Rawiller, who has a healthy lead over Dean Yendall in the state premiership, is expected to be out for two to three weeks.
His Sydney-based brother Nash, the number one rider for Gai Waterhouse, is also nursing an injury but expects to be back later this month.
Damian Lane replaced Rawiller on the favourite, Hurdy Gurdy Man, in the $50,000 Terang Cup but the horse could only manage third behind veteran stayer Titch, ridden by Linda Meech.
The Kevin Myers-trained winner of the 2011 Auckland Cup and runner-up in last year's Crisp Steeple, Titch made light of his 62.5 kilograms to post a three-quarter length win over Lord Of The Parrots.
