The Godolphin stable is in no hurry to commit Ghisoni to a start in the Stradbroke Handicap despite her record-breaking win at Doomben.
Bookies took a late set against Ghisoni, who drifted from $1.65 to $1.85, but she raced away in the straight to beat Cradle Me ($10) by 1-1/4 lengths in the Group Three Glenlogan Stakes (1350m) on Saturday.
Ghisoni clocked 1min17.99secs which took 0.2 of the race record held by Group One-winning mare Seawinne since 1992.
It was only 0.09secs outside the course record held by Takeover Target.
Godolphin representative Darren Beadman said it was not definite that Ghisoni would back up in the $1.5 million Stradbroke on June 11.
"She is a very promising filly but we will let the dust settle before we make a final decision in the next week," he said.
"We have a couple of other options including the Dane Ripper Stakes and then the Group One Tatts Tiara," Beadman said.
But bookmakers are taking no risks about Ghisoni starting in the Stradbroke and they have cut her price to $7.50.
Beadman said Ghisoni would take benefit from the run as she had not started since an unlucky fifth in the Arrowfield Stakes at Randwick on April 9.
If Ghisoni does run in the Stradbroke she will not get enough weight for McDonald to take the ride.
