The in-form Leveraction headlines nominations for the annual David Bourke Provincial Plate at Flemington after back-to-back wins.
Weights for Saturday's $100,000 race, which will form part of a nine-race program at Flemington, were released on Monday with seven-year-old Leveraction the 60kg topweight among the 21 nominations.
The 1600m event is restricted to horses who have started in at least three non-metropolitan races since June 28 last year.
The Daryl Archard-trained Leveraction held on for an all-the-way win over 1800m at Flemington last Saturday week after winning his home track Cup at Echuca.
Acceptances are taken on Wednesday with a field limit of 16 plus emergencies.
Heat seven of the Winter Championship has attracted 20 nominations, with veteran Jacquinot Bay heading the weights with 60kg.
The 1100m open handicap, a heat of the All Victorian Sprint Series, has 33 entries including Reldas (60kg), Alberto Magic and General Truce (59kg).
