Hay List on target for return: Schofield

Wednesday 27 February 2013, 5:16pm

Glyn Schofield is happy star sprinter Hay List remains on track for his return after partnering the John McNair-trained sprinter in a gallop at Gosford on Wednesday.

Hay List, who is coming back from serious injury, was scratched from barrier trials at Randwick and Warwick Farm earlier this week.

"It was just a regular piece of work, nothing flash," Schofield said.

"John decided not to trial him and back him up seven days after his first trial into his second.

"There doesn't feel like there's too much wrong with him, but Hay List is Hay List."

Last year's Newmarket Handicap winner is likely to have an exhibition gallop between races at either Rosehill or Gosford on Saturday.
