Perth trainer Adam Durrant has withdrawn an appeal against a $10,000 fine for a breach of raceday treatment rules.
Durrant was fined last month after Racing Victoria stewards found him guilty of intending to administer a raceday treatment to Mr Moet before the horse ran in the Peter Young Stakes at Caulfield.
Stewards found the trainer had approached the stall in which Mr Moet was boxed with a loaded syringe containing carbalene, an alkalising agent, and a hand towel with the intention of administering the medication to the gelding.
An inquiry was opened after a raid by the Compliance Assurance Team at the stables where Mr Moet was staying on the morning of the Caulfield meeting on February 23.
Mr Moet ran a close second to Foreteller in the Caulfield race before finishing midfield in last week's Australian Cup.
