Leading Blue Diamond Stakes contender Jukebox has been scratched following a further inspection by three vets.
Concerns were first raised on Friday morning with the colt showing signs of lameness in the near foreleg in a pre-race inspection of all two-year-olds engaged in the $1.5 million Group One race on Saturday.
Following another inspection by two Racing Victoria vets and an independent vet specialising in lameness on Friday afternoon, Jukebox was withdrawn at 5.25pm.
Jukebox, who was unbeaten in two starts leading into the Blue Diamond, was a $7.50 chance.
The scratching of the Ciaron Maher-trained youngster is the third from Saturday's race following the withdrawals of Azazel and Spoils on Thursday.
