Berry, Bowman ride G1 winners in Hong Kong

Monday 27 February 2017, 7:26am

Leading Sydney jockeys Tommy Berry and Hugh Bowman have both come away from Sha Tin with Group One wins.

A day after steering Winx to her 10th Group One win in the Chipping Norton Stakes at Randwick, Bowman took out Sunday's Hong Kong Gold Cup on Werther.

Berry also made the lightning trip to Hong Kong where he was successful on Helene Paragon in the Queen's Silver Jubilee Cup.

Both horses are trained by John Moore who confirmed plans to take Werther to the UAE for the Dubai Turf on March 25.

Helene Paragon's owner has ruled out a trip to Dubai for the gelding who beat stablemate Able Friend on Sunday.
