Nash Rawiller suffers shoulder injury

Tuesday 18 April 2017, 7:40am

Three-time Sydney premiership winner Nash Rawiller has suffered a dislocated shoulder and an ankle injury in a fall at Sha Tin.

Rawiller, who moved to Hong Kong on 2014, fell when his mount broke down during the fourth race on Monday's program

He has ridden 35 winners this season and sits third on the premiership behind Joao Moreira and Zac Purton.

Last season's champion Adelaide apprentice Matthew Poon had mixed fortunes at the meeting, riding a double but also receiving a two-meeting suspension for careless riding.

Poon had just returned from an enforced break after suffering concussion in a fall at his first Hong Kong meeting.
