Unbridled Command now with Ed Dunlop

Saturday 23 March 2013, 9:01am

Cox Plate hopeful Unbridled Command has settled into Ed Dunlop's Newmarket stable in England in preparation for an international campaign.

The Hollywood Derby winner will race for a group which includes Kevin and Colleen Bamford, part-owners of 2010 Melbourne Cup winner Americain.

The four-year-old won the Group One Derby at Hollywood Park in November and following his third at Gulfstream last month, he has left the care of trainer Thomas Bush to be prepared by Dunlop.

"We are delighted to welcome Unbridled Command who arrived last night from America," Dunlop said on his website.

"He is settling in well. He is a very exciting addition to the stable."

Plans for Unbridled Command include Royal Ascot in June before a trip to Australia for the Cox Plate and Hong Kong for the International meeting in December.

Dunlop is adept at travelling horses with Red Cadeaux a close second to Dunaden in the 2011 Melbourne Cup and the winner of the Hong Kong Vase last December.
