Anthony Cummings is adamant stakeswinner She Goes To Rio can bounce back from her last start flop and give Saturday's Listed Angst Stakes at Rosehill a shake.

She Goes To Rio signalled she had come back in good order when she finished third to Miss Stellabelle first-up in the Mona Lisa Stakes at Wyong.

But things went awry in the Tibbie Stakes at Newcastle when she went forward and tired in the straight, beating just one rival to the line.

Cummings said She Goes To Rio had genuine excuses last start after she was ridden aggressively to suit the pattern of the day.

"She probably just wasn't quite ready to be made use of in the first furlong second-up, but the way the track played on the day if you didn't do that you were just no hope," Cummings said.

"She's done well since. Her work has been really good so I expect her to run more like her good first-up run.

"She's a nice filly in the right race on Saturday and she'll run well."

A field of 13 was paid up for the Angst (1500m) on Wednesday including the Guy Walter-trained trio of Skyerush, Forarainyday and Zauberflote.

She Goes To Rio has drawn well in gate five and Cummings compares her favourably with Lovemelikearock who he prepared to win the race two years ago.

He also expects the 1500m trip to suit his mare despite the fact she has not won beyond 1400m.

"She ran second in the Keith Nolan over 1600, beaten a half head, so she does have form at that trip and beyond," Cummings said.

Cummings has also elected to run smart filly Agueda at Rosehill after scratching her from Wednesday's Warwick Farm card.

She will be ridden by gun junior rider Anthony Allen who achieved a rare feat in July when he became the first apprentice in more than 30 years to ride five winners at a Brisbane metropolitan meeting.

"He was the kid that rode five winners in a day at Doomben so he can plainly ride, he can take a couple of kilos off and I think she'll run well for an apprentice," Cummings said.

Agueda, who has been stakes placed at all three starts this campaign, would have carried 61.5kg on Wednesday.

After Allen's two kilo claim she will carry just 51kg at Rosehill.
