New Zealand Group One winner Tougher Than Ever will take no further part in the autumn carnival and instead try his luck in Singapore.
In the best of three starts in Sydney, the colt who raced as Warhorse across the Tasman under Jason Bridgeman, ran second in the Group Two Apollo Stakes (1400m) for Chris Waller.
"He will go to Singapore very soon," Waller said.
"He will be suited to racing there and there is good prize money for three-year-olds."
Tougher Than Ever won the Group One Diamond Stakes as a two-year-old and was a close third in the New Zealand 2000 Guineas won last November by Sacred Falls who is also now with Waller at Rosehill.
The plan is for Tougher Than Ever to join Mark Walker's stable where he will be prepared for the Singapore Triple Crown series.
The colt's owner Tang Weng Fei lives in the island state.
Waller still has plenty of ammunition for the Randwick part of the autumn carnival including Sacred Falls who heads to the Doncaster Mile on April 20.
He will try to emulate the trainer's first Group One winner Triple Honour who won the 2008 Doncaster as a three-year-old.
Sacred Falls was second in the Rosehill Guineas, beaten almost seven lengths by It's A Dundeel and drops back from 2000 metres while the winner goes to Saturday's Australian Derby (2400m).
Of Waller's older brigade heading to the Doncaster, Shoot Out and Danleigh finished third and seventh respectively in Saturday's George Ryder Stakes won by Pierro from King Mufhasa.
Like King Mufhasa, Shoot Out holds an entry to the Champions Mile in Hong Kong on May 5 but his jockey Hugh Bowman is hoping he runs in the Doncaster.
"I thought he went exceptionally well," Bowman said.
Pierro dominates the market for the Doncaster at $2 with Saturday's Vinery Stud Stakes winner Norzita at $8.
