Golden Slipper winner Overreach will attempt the second leg of the two-year-old triple crown on Saturday, the Group One Sires' Produce Stakes at Randwick.
She will be joined in the 1400m race by her Gai Waterhouse-trained stablemate Sweet Idea, third in Saturday's $3.5 million Slipper.
Waterhouse said both fillies had come through the rigours of the Golden Slipper well and would be given their chance in the Sires.
Another stablemate, Whittington, who was unplaced will be given a spell.
A well thought out ride by Tommy Berry gave Overreach the richest prize in Sydney racing and justified her favouritism.
Waterhouse knows what it takes to win the triple crown having done it twice with Dance Hero in 2004 and Pierro last year.
Overreach's owner-breeder George Altomonte has experienced victory in the final two legs - the Sires' Produce and Champagne Stakes (1600m) - with Hasna in 2003 after that filly ran third to Polar Success in the Slipper.
Villa Verde, the only horse to have beaten Overreach and a one-time Slipper favourite, will give it another go in the Sires' after running seventh in the Slipper from a wide alley on the slow surface which jockey Michael Rodd said wasn't to her liking.
Trainer Shaun Dwyer said Villa Verde had eaten up overnight and he and the owners were now keen to give her another crack at Overreach.
"She pulled up extremely well," Dwyer said.
"We're going to nominate for the Sires, which originally wasn't on the agenda."
Dwyer said the proviso was that the track improved and Overreach drew a decent barrier.
Slipper runner-up Sidestep will not run but his Darley stablemate Champollion, winner of Saturday's Group Three Baillieu (1400m) could be a contender as long as he does well over the next few days.
