Racing Victoria integrity chief calls time

Tuesday 3 October 2017, 6:37pm

After almost a decade at the helm of Racing Victoria's integrity department, Dayle Brown is stepping down.

Brown, who joined RV in 2008, will leave at the end of the year.

He had previous experience in legal, integrity and corporate areas with Betfair, Deloitte and Harness Racing Victoria and said he was proud to leave at a time when RV was a recognised leader in the field of integrity services.

"I have opportunities to take on new challenges that I am currently considering," Brown said.

"With a strong team in place at RV that have an unflinching commitment to maintaining a level playing field for all, the time is right for the next chapter of my professional career and personal development."

RV chief executive Giles Thompson said Brown's contribution to the wider business had been immense.

"His knowledge, professionalism and commitment have proven invaluable," Thompson said.
