A favourable forecast has all but assured Black Caviar will have the Randwick footing she needs in her bid for 25th win on Saturday.
"The forecast is pretty promising," Randwick track manager Nevesh Ramdhani said.
"They are forecasting it to be a sunny day and we'll certainly be racing on a dead track."
Randwick was kept in the slow range early Friday because of morning dew but it was upgraded later to a dead-rated surface.
Ramdhani expects the famous racecourse to be in pristine condition as Black Caviar returns to the track for the first time in two years.
"It's pretty much set up perfectly for tomorrow ... there is an exceptional cover of grass on the track," Ramdhani said.
"It's going to look fantastic and it's going to (race) good, too."
Randwick was rated on the heavy side at the start of the week, prompting Black Caviar's trainer Peter Moody to declare she wouldn't run if the track stayed that way for the Australia Derby day meeting.
