Fullazaboot heads towards Magic Millions

Saturday 21 October 2017, 1:57pm

Trainer Stu Kendrick's decision to pay more than he wanted for two year old Fullazaboot has given him a live chance at winning the Magic Millions Classic.

Fullazaboot ($7.50) made light work of a bog track to beat Acceptia ($26) by three-and-a-half lengths in the Breast Cancer Network Australia Handicap.

Kendrick liked the look of Fullazaboot when he inspected him at the Magic Millions sales and went to $90,000 for him.

"He is an athletic horse and very good looking. He has a lot of winners in his bloodlines and he is now heading to the Magic Millions Classic in January," Kendrick said.

"I had to go to a bit more than I expected for him because Chris Waller had a half brother to him that hadn't started then but had won a trial,"

"That horse (D'Argento) has since won both its starts in good fashion."

Fullazaboot is by former Group one winner Sepoy out of the Listed race winner Fulazz who won the Debutante Stakes at her first start for Lee Freedman.

His family also traces to some smart horses including Hoss Amour who is the dam of a yearling who went fro $2.4 million this season at the Easter sales.

Winning jockey Brad Stewart said Fullazboot had handled the bog track well but would also be improved.
