Too Good To Refuse is set to give his biggest fan a farewell present by winning at Doomben.

Trainer Desleigh Forster had been planning to send Too Good To Refuse south but her loyalty to her staff means her stable star will run in Saturday's Kartaway Handicap (1200m).

Too Good To Refuse resumed at Doomben two weeks ago, running on strongly to be beaten two lengths into sixth place.

Forster had planned to take Too Good To Refuse to either Hawkesbury in NSW or Flemington in Melbourne for his next start.

But the trainer is keen for one of her hardest-working staff members to see Too Good To Refuse win one more time.

"One my staff who looks after him most of the time is returning to South Korea for his two years of compulsory military service," Forster said.

"He is a very hard worker and rides track work as well as strapping."

South Korean citizens must complete two years national service between the ages of 18 and 35.

"He loves Too Good To Refuse and would like to see him win one more time before he goes home," Forster said.

"So I would like to give him that chance and I think Too Good To Refuse can do it."

Too Good To Refuse is one of many horses in Brisbane who have been disadvantaged by the closure of Eagle Farm.

"It has been closed for a lot of his career. He is a get-back horse who likes to charge home so a bigger track would suit. His best win was in a Listed race at Eagle Farm last year," Forster said.

"But he has won twice at Doomben and been second there five times."

Too Good To Refuse has pleased Forster since his last start

Matt McGillivray, who is returning from suspension, will ride Too Good To Refuse.
