Mikel Delzangles is considering the Coronation Cup at Epsom as a possible seasonal starting point for his globetrotting stable stalwart Dunaden.
Winner of the Melbourne Cup and Hong Kong Vase in 2011, the Pearl Bloodstock-owned seven-year-old enjoyed another fine campaign in 2012.
He was second in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot and sixth in the King George, before winning the Caulfield Cup on his return to Australia.
Dunaden was last seen finishing fourth behind St Nicholas Abbey in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan in March.
"He's an amazing horse and he came back well from his trip to Dubai," Delzangles told At The Races.
"We have still not decided what we're going to do with him, but he might go for the Coronation Cup.
"I don't think he'll go for the Ascot Gold Cup.
"He was unlucky in the King George last year, he hasn't been very lucky.
"We might try again (in the King George) this year, but nothing is decided."
