Moody set to announce plans for Caviar

Wednesday 17 April 2013, 2:10pm

Trainer Peter Moody has called a media conference to announce plans for the immediate future of world champion sprinter Black Caviar.

Moody and the unbeaten mare's owners will front the media at the trainer's Caulfield stables at 3pm (AEST), Racing Victoria confirmed.

Black Caviar stretched her unbeaten sequence to 25 wins when she smashed a quality field of sprinters in the TJ Smith Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.

Moody met with the Black Caviar ownership group after the mare was put through a thorough vet examination following her return to Melbourne on Sunday.

Potential races in which Black Caviar could continue her streak include the BTC Cup in Brisbane and Group One Goodwood in Adelaide.
