Five Golden Slipper contenders will undergo veterinary examinations after being held up in traffic on the way from Randwick to Rosehill.

Written By, Santos, Long Leaf, Ef Troop and Qafila were stuck in their floats in the M5 tunnel because of an accident.

Written By is the second favourite behind Sunlight for the $3.5 million race at Rosehill on Saturday.
