Lindsay Park has always prided itself on its success with youngsters.

Already this season Lindsay Park has prepared 23 two-year-old winners of which 10 have been in black-type races.

Lindsay Park will have another two chances to add to that tally when it saddles Dalswinton and debutant Sikorsky in the Listed Redoute's Choice Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on Saturday.

Senior trainer David Hayes, who prepares the team in partnership with son Ben and nephew Tom Dabernig, said the colts could be in for a trip to Queensland for the winter carnival if they perform well on Saturday.

Hayes said the BRC Sires' Produce Stakes on May 26 and the Group One JJ Atkins on June 9, both at Doomben, were races in the back of the mind for the stable.

"At this stage I would say Dalswinton could be a chance of going to Brisbane if he won well on Saturday," Hayes said.

"He looks a little bit more mature but we'll see how Sikorsky runs."

Craig Williams takes the ride on Dalswinton on Saturday after the colt ran a debut third behind Thrillster at Bendigo on April 7.

Thrillster has since gone to Caulfield and was successful last week in the VOBIS Sires'.

"He was a bit unlucky at Bendigo," Hayes said.

"It was a good run as he hit the line strongly and the form out of the race is good.

"He'll certainly appreciate the rise in trip."

Sikorsky has had a delayed start to his career after going shin sore in the lead up to autumn carnival.

Hayes said the colt, a half-brother to stakes winners Sacred Eye and Tulip, had performed well in Flemington jumpouts ahead of Saturday's debut.

"I think he's got above average ability," Hayes said.

"He's trialled well and is a well bred colt and I think he'll run.

"He would have been a perfect horse for the Sires', or those sort of races, but he went shin sore, so we had to back off and start again.

"This looks a suitable race for him to start off."

Damien Oliver will be aboard the colt for his debut.
