RV adds an extra meeting after wash-out

A turf meeting has been added to the upcoming scheduled in country Victoria after a meeting at Bendigo had to be abandoned because of wet weather.

Wednesday's Bendigo meeting was called off on race morning after 21mm of overnight rain left surface water on parts of the track.

Racing Victoria have announced an additional meeting, comprising eight races, has been added at Horsham next Tuesday.

A $40,000 benchmark 70 race over 1000m has also been added to next Wednesday's Sandown meeting.
