Kerrin McEvoy has ridden the winners of the two feature races at Wyong with Savatiano taking the Mona Lisa Stakes and Carzoff the Gold Cup.
It was a first win in the Cup (2100m) for McEvoy and a sixth for Carzoff's trainer Chris Waller on Friday.
Carzoff ($6) benefited from McEvoy's experience when he had to steer him between horses in the straight.
When he got clear air, Carzoff overhauled Dark Eyes ($9) to win by a length with Taree Cup winner Shalmaneser ($21) another half length third.
"There was a bit of jockeying going on early and he got back," McEvoy said.
"Once he got out he enjoyed himself.
"Today's race looked a competitive one for him and he deserves a win."
Godolphin mare Saviatano started the $2.60 favourite in the Listed Mona Lisa (1350m) and lived up to the quote with a half length win over the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Shumookh ($5.50).
Irithea ($4.20) from the Bjorn Baker stable was another three-quarters of a length third.
