Cassidy keeps faith in beaten Order Again

Saturday 1 September 2018, 2:01pm

Jockey Larry Cassidy was far from disappointed after favourite Order Again was beaten into second place at the Sunshine Coast on Saturday.

Order Again ($2.25) loomed as the winner at the 250m but was outsprinted, going down a length to Prioritise ($4.40) with a nose to Glitra ($7) in third place.

Order Again is headed to Sydney for the Kingston Town Stakes and Cassidy said the horse should not be sacked on that run.

"Sure people are going to be disappointed because he won so brilliantly first-up. But he was second up and we had 59 kilos while the winner had 51 (kilos)," Cassidy said.

"He did want to hang in but it was a good run again and he obviously going to be fitter now."

Prioritise continues to surprise his trainer Steve Tregea with his solid runs.

"I took him to Sydney and he probably should have won. But there are 12 stories like that about him," Tregea said.
