Angland suspended, misses Caulfield Cup

Saturday 6 October 2018, 5:56pm

Ace High will need a new rider in the Caulfield Cup with Tye Angland to miss the race through suspension.

Angland was outed at Randwick for his ride on runner-up Aramayo in Saturday's Group One Spring Champion Stakes in which he shifted out at the 300m, inconveniencing two other runners.

He will be out from October 14 to 21.

Angland rides Trapeze Artist in next Saturday's $13 million Everest at Randwick.

The David Payne-trained Ace High, winner of the 2017 Victoria Derby, is a $13 chance in the Caulfield Cup.
