Enable to run in Breeders' Cup Turf

Wednesday 17 October 2018, 7:23am

Enable has been given the green light to head to Churchill Downs for the Breeders' Cup Turf.

The dual Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner has come out of her victory at ParisLongchamp in tip-top shape, and connections can find no reason not to travel to the United States for the race on November 3.

Given her truncated season because to injury, her victory in France was just her second race of the season.

Trainer John Gosden revealed after the Arc that Enable was around 85 per cent fit because of a minor setback following her comeback win at Kempton.

Teddy Grimthorpe, Khalid Abdullah's racing manager, issued a statement saying the mare would head to Kentucky.

"Prince Khalid has given the go ahead for Enable to run in the Breeders' Cup Turf, Group One," he said.

"No decisions on her future will be made until after the race."
