Staying races or the Magic Millions.
That's the dilemma confronting trainer Tony Gollan after Light Up The Room kept her unbeaten record this campaign intact at Doomben.
Gollan will weigh up options in the next few weeks for Light Up The Room ($3.20) after the filly defeated Champagne Daisy, the $2 favourite, by 1-1/4 lengths in the Aitkenvale Family Health Care Centre Handicap (1350m).
"They've got a new summer staying series for three-year-olds and I'm really keen to get her out to the mile and beyond," Gollan said.
"I see her as a filly who can get out to an Oaks trip as a three-year-old next year but there's also a big carrot at the Gold Coast in January so we've got a few decisions to make.
"One option is keeping her to the mile then sharpen her up enough for the Millions if she's got enough prize money to get into that.
"I'll make a few decisions in the next couple of months."
Jockey Brad Stewart had Light Up The Room travelling comfortably just behind the leaders before bring her with a well-timed finish to defeat Champagne Daisy with Trusty Lad turning in an eye-catching first up run to finish third.
