A field of 15 has accepted for the Group One $1 million VRC Oaks at Flemington.
The feature race on the third day of the Victoria Racing Club's four-day carnival will see Darren Weir saddle three runners in the 2500m event for three-year-old fillies.
Weir will start Thousand Guineas winner Amphitrite, stepping up from 1600m after being unplaced in the Empire Rose Stakes when sent off favourite and Verry Elleegant also favourite when fifth in the Wakeful Stakes on Saturday.
The third of his runners is Zapurler, a last-start Echuca maiden winner.
The Mark Newnham-trained Greysful Glamour will jump from barrier one while Dark Confidant, one of two Lindsay Park-trained runners, will start from the widest gate.
Michelle Payne, who won the 2015 Melbourne Cup on Prince Of Penzance, will ride for her father Paddy aboard Miner's Miss, a last-start Avoca maiden winner.
